How to find the right weight loss shake

Choose the right one. Some are designed for body builders and people who want to gain weight, and obviously that’s not the kind you want if you want to lose weight. Look for one that will give you about 200 – 250 calories per shake. That includes the calories from skim milk, i.e. If you will be mixing it with milk, and the calories from any fruit or anything else you might want to add to your shake. Look for one that is low in fat, preferably ten grams of fat or less per serving, and one that is low in carbs, preferably ten carbs or less per serving like Lineshake (not counting the carbs in the milk, if you are going to mix your shake with milk).

Look for the one that will give you 20 – 30 grams of protein per shake. Include the protein in skim milk, if you will be mixing it with milk. One cup of skim milk has about eight grams of protein. Using the one with too little protein will not help you feel full for long. On the other hand, using a shake that gives you large amounts of protein, like 50 or 60 grams, will likely give you too many calories.

Some are best mixed with water and some are best mixed with milk. If you are going to mix yours with milk, use skim milk to minimize the amount of fat and calories in your shake.

It can be used in place of a meal, or you can use it as a quick and easy healthy snack. Don’t take it along with a meal- you’ll be getting too many calories that way. Lineshake funciona and the protein shake, which is effective for me consists of:
1 cup water
½ cup strawberries (or other berries)
¼ cup of protein powder (I use a powder made of soy protein)
(As an option, you can use ¼ cup low fat or fat-free milk)

With a blender you can mix these ingredients well to make your shake. You can put some in your fridge. But you do not want to keep it there for about 2 days. You can take it for breakfast, morning snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snacks and late-night snack before bedtime. Many have tried this routine (including myself) and are effective. During this 1 day or 2 days of the period of drinking smoothies, can prudent and wise to return to the intense preparation. Or you can try for one day.
